Dimitri Kechagias review: ZOUK recordings is an excellent progressive house label that can be named even as groundbreaking as it never fails to impress with its truly diverse releases and enter the prog house or even trance charts as well. In the age that boundaries between genres and styles disappear in favour of hybrid and creativity ZOUK reflects that growing trend through its releases. For example the brand new mind blowing EP by VillaNaranjos includes so many influences that I can imagine wide variety of djs adopting it firmly for their sets. Digital Logic is a powerful driving uplifting dance track that applies epic prog house beats and basslines but on top he throws some blissful melodies that will make you feel like walking on pink clouds for sure. His breakdown is balearic and trancefantastic until the big synths explode like fireworks in the air in order the track to reach its much wanted climax. The Quo is a superb fresh sounding track that is definitely more prog housey with exotic melodies on top recalling middle east merged with latin flavoured piano parts. The result is a global hybrid that will be loved all over the world. The composition is outstanding with all small details working together to satisfy the hungry for excitement buyer. Two very large tracks highly recommended! Love IT!
