Twins in Mind is a new project inspired and created by three musicians who live in three different countries (Belgium, Greece and Canada). The project name refers to their strong bond, which they describe as being brothers in heart and mind. This bond and also their passion for music and especially Twins In Mind grew stronger and stronger, despite the obvious distance among them. All three were inspired by the infamous musical project Enigma from Michael Cretu, so they decided to put their hands together to create this project which soon developed its own, new distinctive sound, fresh and deep enough to touch many souls in the world, no matter what continent, religion or age. Skeptical? Take a listen and join the fantastic world of Twins In Mind with their first release and album Sad In Joy. A mystical 51 minute chill out journey through 12 tracks spiced up with 5 bonus remixes by Cammiloo and an exclusive 48 minute continuous chill out mix from all album tracks.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The fantastic ambient/chill out label Bonzai Elemental from Belgium introduce us to a fantastic ambient/chill out project call themselves Twins in Mind with their first album called Sad in Joy. 12 inspiring and inspired tracks that can clear our minds from anything negative and let our soul to move forward within secret and unknown locations for the many. Lets listen  each track and note down my first thoughts about them. Intro is a superb way to relax and allow the glow of melodies take over.  I Hear Your Voice : Wonderful soulful vocals merged with ethnic voices, great drums and guitar riffs well known from Enigma tracks. Fallacy Of Faith: It starts with great female spoken vocal sample and soon the ambient soundbed is coming in with Gregorian chants, spicey breaks and playful guitar riffs. The breakdown reveals a beautiful new melodic theme that grows in you without even noticing it.  Sad In Joy is the title track of the album. Ambient naturally occurring sounds and ethnic like lullaby vocals combined beautifully with twinkle melodies and piano riffs. It brings in my mind the great Deep Forest project as well.  Where Do We Go From Here: Superb track that its focus point is the female vocals echoed and manipulated  with breaks and great atmospheres. Beyond Visions is quite upbeat with hand percussion, flute and Gregorian chants. The result is an exceptional tapestry of different and harmonically working together sounds with epic uplifting edge to it. Breathing Sunlight starts with Gregorian chants and slowly great melody is introduced that give you the sensation of seeing, feeling and breathing the energy that the sunlight can only give to humans and plants as well. Whispered Lullaby combines piano, drums, traditional instruments with ethnic vocals and great atmosphere. Eternal Fantasy is a blissful driving journey that is closer to the classic Enigma compositions. It starts with upbeat drum programming and in the breakdown  a goddess like female spoken vocal sample invite us to take part in this inner discovery. Then guitar riff is introduced that in a way offers the climax of the track. Floating Clouds is definitely giving you the sense of floating, flowing and being in a higher state of mind. Beautiful chill out melodies and ethnic vocals will give you that sense of loosing gravity. The Nighttime includes a wonderful singing female vocal that will blow your mind away combined with guitar riffs and will bring in your mind  nature in the night. About Us closes off wonderfully the album with distorted vocal that remind us that we were enjoying the meditating, spacey, relaxing, mysterious, and thought provoking sounds of Twins in Mind. Love IT!
