REVIEW: Planisphere vs Digital Angel - Trinidad Flashback out on Bonzai Progressive

1-Original Mix
2-James Harcourt Remix
3-Miika Kuisma Remix

I know this is what many have been waiting for, a new Planisphere release, well it's been worth the wait !!! Trinidad Flashback is a collab between Planisphere & Digital Angel, this Belgian duo delivers a true progressive tech monster with loads of atmosphere !!! On top there's 2 remixes, James Harcourt takes it down techno avenue, phat, crispy and crunchy. Miika Kuisma's mix is taking you straight into the abyss, deep progressive at it's best !!

Dimitri Kechagias review: For all the old school trance fans the name Planisphere signifies the finest period of trance music. It brings back memories of high quality progressive trance tracks that will stay in our minds for years and already considered to be loveable classics for many. Behind the project Planisphere is the talented dj and producer Laurent Veronezz well known for many trance projects in the past including Airwave or Velvet Girl to mention just a few. The news that the great project Planisphere is back gave me so much hope about what I can expect on it. This time Planisphere collaborates with Digital Angel and they offer us the massive Trinidad Flashback. It is such a wonderful tune that will become one of your favourite without delays. It is very hard to categorise it as the track includes elements and influences of deep progressive trance, progressive and tech house as well. What I really love in it  are the little subliminal melodies that create a really magical mysterious atmosphere. The swirling synthy lead stays at the background and give to the track a dreamy hypnotic feel to it. So deep, driving, travelling and very exceptional track that will find place within house or trance sets. The top producer James Harcourt after his massive rework of Push - Universal Nation does his tricks once again and he transforms the track into a deep tech house track with playful melodies and beats blended perfectly in order to create a colourful and haunting atmosphere at the same time. When you have such a strong original is hard not to deliver an equally creative and inspired remix. Lastly the always fantastic Miika Kuisma creates a massive remix with awesome intro that is deep atmospheric  until to let his beat and deep bassline to kick in for an enjoyable ride upon the blissful cinematic soundscape that only Miika knows how to deliver for sure. After the breakdown the track goes even deeper and groovier until to finish with atmospheric outro too. You press play and let the unexpected magic to happen again and again. Dont try to categorise it, better try to appreciate the art in it. Lets hope 2012 will be the year that Laurent will continue to deliver awesome releases. Love iT!
