REVIEW: Simon Steur - Upside Down out on Avanti/Black Hole recordings

1. Original

Simon Steur presents his latest release on the Avanti imprint, entitled “Upside Down”.

Simon first appeared with a release in the summer of 2009 on the Sneakerz Muzik imprint. The track “Scrambled Eggs” was a collab with his older brother Jonas Steur. He also made his first appearance on our Black Hole Recordings imprint, remixing for the very same brother and Stephen Pickup. His bootleg/edit of the popular track Modjo - "Lady", which he made together with a friend, was one of the most played tracks the entire summer and well into 2010. Simon eventually got to remix the first debut single of Bruno Mars: “Just The Way You Are” which became a world class hit.

“Upside Down” is once again a trademark Steur track: energetic and true to the sound of well produced tech house on the progressive tip.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Its time for another big room progressive house banger from the hands of the talented and trusted Simon Steur. Upside Down lands on Avanti/Black Hole recordings and can be easily described as a sure shot for the night. Its tailor made to become your anthem if you like instrumental  funky rhythms and the driving basslines along with  demanding piano melody on top. As the title suggests when this will be played dont expect on the dancefloor nothing than going Upside Down and all the way round and back once again. Its simple and irresistable but lets not forget that House Music is made by the people for the people and when its not very complicated its pure and lovely like the new anthem by Simon Steur. Love it!
