After a lot of separate singles released at Moonbeam Digital we want to present one of the main releases of 2012 - debut album by very productive and promising artist of Russia – Matvey Emerson.
The star of Matvey Emerson has begun to ascend in 2008 after first EP at one of the U.S. labels. After that time he has enough number of releases (including singles released at Moonbeam Digital). One of Matvey's last tracks recorded with Moonbeam called 'Wanderer' received support from Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Markus Schulz and others. But now it’s time to present his first artist album called ‘Fantom’.
More than year of working and 10 tracks is done. 10 quality and wonderful tracks, one of which was recorded with U.S. singer Sopheary.
But, enough talk. Press ‘Play’ and feel the magic of sound and voice from Matvey Emerson with his ‘Fantom’.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The high quality label of Moonbeam Digital is about to release the exquisite debut album by Matvey Emerson. Fantom is a must have for any deep trance/prog house meets trance sounds lover. For review purposes I've got in my hands 5 tracks taken from the album. First of all is the awesome The Strangers. Blissful deep progressive trance with hypnotic rhythm and distorted male vocals that tell us the story that we all going through in a club when we are surrounded from strangers. Matvey Emerson co-operates with the lovely Sopheary for the magical Wasted. Atmospheric driving deep dark melancholic emotional trancer with excellent vocal performance by Sopheary and very cool chunky beats. Call Your Name is a balearic upbeat progressive trancer with positive lyrics that create an optimistic, summery, colourful atmosphere. On Slow he applies tribal crunchy trance beats, dark basslines, and the whole feeling is quite erotic and sexy as well. Beautiful piano melodies on top add to the whole dreamy atmosphere of course. Last but not least is the already released Who We Are that is a very energetic deep groovy prog trancer with big room club elements as well. The best album to start your spring, Highly recommended! Love it!
