2-It Matters
The mighty UK duo Sharp Boys, who absolutely ruled the dance floors in the mid-nineties, return once again to Selekted Music after their Selekted debut with Sharp Tools Volume 6.
Following the good tradition of Sharp Tools EP’s, two highly contagious funky rockers are served on this Volume 7 determined to set fire to sunny festivals and steaming clubs in the months to come!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The Sharp Boys are striking back with another excellent EP on Selekted Music that is one of the finest house labels in The Netherlands and already with many wordwide hits under its belt. After the big success of the previous singles its the right time of the year for the Sharp Boys to reveal their brilliant slice of highly danceble party crackers. Hula Hoops is a massive feel good tribal hard house track with disco house samples, old school vocal samples and Latin influences as well. In my ears this EP sounds like coming out from a huge party in Miami Winter Music Conference. It has that USA house sound that will be loved by many particularly all those who dont want more epic prog house madness. Also the track is so fluffy and feel good that brings in my mind mental images of spring with flowers blooming and people dancing in Nature. Second wicked track included in this must have house EP is the cool It Matters. I love the sexy groovy rhythm and the top notch disco house samples that are merged so nicely with the bouncy beats. Its very upbeat, uplifting, playful and so back to the roots of house music! Essential item in your record box! Love it!
