Dimitri Kechagias review: The legendary high quality record label from Netherlands, Black Hole recordings remain at the top because of their A& R ability to find always tracks that are unique, different and offer quality sonic experience to the listener. Now its time for the quality project Future Disciple to return with a beautiful tribalesque progressive house meets prog trance track that even includes the quality vocal of the lady of house Angie Brown. City of Angels combines elements of trance and classic house in one unbeatable and very impressive package. The vocal is very well produced and will get you sing a long without even noticing it. Upon the tribal beats and the driving basslines there is even a great saxophone riff that adds a jazzy late night atmosphere. Just imagine playing this in your car afte midnight while you drive towards your favourite club that Black Hole recordings djs are performing. Pure magical combination of the old and the new for sure. On board for a funky interpretation is the talented Dutch wonderboy Jess-E who builds slowly a great name for him and his reputation grows day after day. His remix for this track is deep, chunky with old garage house influences with deep wobbly basslines and fantastic use of Angie's exceptional vocals. I can imagine many house jocks dropping this beauty! Wonderful release! Love it!
