After the release of his breathtaking 'Referendum' album 2011, Evgeny Bardyuzha has delivered us with two club versions from the release. The Album itself was well reveived and has had the support of DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, tyDi and Solarstone.
For this special EP, Evgeny has taken two of his favourite tracks and given them a clubby rework. The tracks still have that special sound, feel and emotion, but now are even more ready for the clubs!
When interviewed by our good friends at Progressive House Worldwide, this is what Evgeny said about the album:
Once I saw an interesting conceptual art-project, called USSR-2061, I was inspired very much and tried to put some communistic feel into the music. It is something that could be well-understood by Russians. I wanted to dedicate it to our national culture, but for the other listeners it is just like the different kind of trance. It's not about the style but mostly about the approach, including the artwork [used on the album cover]. Another thing that influenced me a lot (and influences me everytime) is geopolic, futurology and other global things and global changes.
Enjoy the release!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Evgeny Bardyuzha is an exceptional talent and very soon he will explode big time in the trance scene as he deserves it of course. His album on Neuroscience was a revelation for many for a new kind of trance. Now his brand new EP with 2 club mixes of tracks included in his album will satisfy those who would love to include them in their sets. USSR-2061 is a futuristic form of trance with electro trance twisted beats and dirty basslines, ambient sounds, swirling synths and heavenly style female vocals on top that build a mysterious and magical atmosphere. On the same mood is Magnitoplan with main difference that the whole vibe is more upfront and uplifting. Driving bubbly beats and positive female vocals give you the sense that you are immediately transferred in another world and in a secret dimension only visible to those who wear their ipod headphones and are guided to see the light from the colourful rainbows that this great track is creating. Magnificent sounds, Love It!
