The Manufactured Superstars aka Shawn Sabo and Brat Roulier have come a long way since establishing their act in 2006. The duo’s tour agenda by now looks like a phone book and so far they played at festivals like Identity Fest, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Red Rocks/Global Dance, Lief Festival and at the world‟s top nightclubs like XS Club at the Wynn in Las Vegas; Fluxx and Voyeur in San Diego; Lavo, Pacha and Greenhouse in New York; Playhouse in Los Angeles and they even played at the Kennedy Space Center. The duo scored big time with the singles “Take Me Over”, “Serious”, “Drunk Text” and their well received “Freak On You” EP.
For this new release Manufactured Superstars collaborated with (also Colorado based) Jeziel Quintela. He is a successful producer that has accomplished the attention & support from the biggest DJs & producers in the world including: Tiesto, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and ATB and has reached the Beatport Top 100 charts several times. The vocals are delivered by vocalist Christian Burns, who has worked with superstars like Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren.
“Silver Splits The Blue” is a powerful club banger on the trance tip that will confirm what the Manufactured Superstars are all about, ‘cause when they take the stage, the party is out of this world!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The awesome project Manufactured Superstars return on Magik Muzik with the complete remix package of the fantastic hit single Silver Splits the Blue with the brilliant Christian Burns on vocal duties. For me the best news is that Big Beat/Atlantic will release this great record in North America and the prospects for this hit single are very promising indeed. The big package of remixes will satisfy the Big Room Boys and Girls out there with some very well produced versions perfect to get any dancefloor into frenzy state. The LA Riots Remix is a powerful club stormer of fat rounded and solid beats with electro house influences. Great breakdown that utilise the top vocal in the best possible way and huge synthy riff to raise the roofs before to continue on the main room/climax of that well crafted remix. The friends of Dubstep will be serviced well from J Flash & Tyler Blue Remix. Great melodic breaks intro that goes totally wild and anarchic in the main part. I can imagine this top version droped in big festivals and the crowds letting themselves out of their heads. Dragon & Jontron Remix is a big room prog house version with large breakdown that will excite you a lot and then it goes hard and punchy with acid overtones too. Brian Matrix Remix is tougher version with metallic tribal kickdrum recalling big room USA house styles. Jquintel vs. Jaceo Remix follows the tech house style that many Italian producers adopted at the moment. With a lot of groove and heavy dose of funk this is the playful version with happy and optimistic vibe to get the clubbers lasting on the dancefloor for longer. There is a cool Dub version as well. The package completes a cool and quite strange Jay Sustain & Marshall Monica Dub Mix that is hard to define under certain category. So extensive and good package to cover all the shades and sizes of house music. Its going to be one of the biggest WMC anthems without doubts. Love IT!
