REVIEW: Triarchy & Mauri - Air (Original Mix) out on Zouk/Armada Music

1.Air (Original Mix)

Triarchy and Mauri represent the sound of a new generation of EDM producers. Touching the fine edges of prog, tingling the house fanatics and moving the trancers, is ‘Air’, their debut on ZOUK!

Based in Miami, all three producers behind this deep and contagious track are at the very epicenter of dance. When it’s going down in Miami, it’s going down anywhere around the globe. Triarchy, with Alberto Beeck and Patrick Pizzorni behind it, have already earned their stripes in dance land.

These talented locals invited newcomer Bryant Mauri to join in on a fruitful studio session, with ‘Air’ as the stunning result!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Progressive house from the finest record label Zouk  is always welcome and particularly when new artists are introduced to the global dance community. We all need some fresh air to breath and feel that special Miami atmosphere particularly people like me that only in my dreams can imagine how WMC in Miami should be like. But maybe we are not with flesh and bones in this big EDM event but we take a small taste of it through the tracks that will be praised and labeled  as the biggest anthem in Miami. Air by Triarchy and Mauri has all the assets to win the trust of the WMC inhabitants and become one of their beloved tune. It starts all quite minimal with tribal latin style kick drums  but very soon the party starts on the style that I adore of the big epic prog house sound. You know the score by now what you can expect of course. Big piano riffs and even larger synthy riffs upon bouncy beats, driving basslines, plenty of clapping effects  and with even some heavenly trance style voices for that hands in the air and big wide smile in your face feeling too. It can have big impact on the dancefloor without delays. Epic prog house with latin touch is the smallest description that comes to my mind. Like IT!
