With E.P 1 from Unfold - the remixes currently firing up the trance charts, its time for a second slice of club killing trance.
So here we go with ‘Unfold - The Remixes’ E.P.2
British producer and sound engineer Dave Parkinson, residing under his Revolution9 moniker, took Raw Deal down a more straight edged club route, expanding the riff into a longer breakdown with new chords. The climax is classic Parkinson style, which we have come to know him for - BASS.
‘Smokescreen’, was taken on by Irish rising producer Sneijder, who JOC himself has tipped to be a big player in the scene. Fine acid elements, uplifting trance and that euphoric melody all join forces on this belter of a tune. Sneijder on top form, hammering.
Last but not least, there’s the Heatbeat vs Kent & Gian remix of BPM-monster ‘Stresstest’. The Argentinean producers strike down with a progressive, electro analog bass stab style para para Argentina monster.
Thank you please.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Unfold was one of the most inspiring trance albums of 2011. A year later and Subculture/Armada Music delivers the brand new remixes coming from the hands of the most able and sought for remixers at the moment. The excellent JOC originals are changing completely in order to follow the style of the remixers. First of all the awesome Sneijder prove that all the hype around his name was worthwhile with an uplifting euphoric trance remix at its best for Smokescreen. Euphoric to its fullest with some psy trance & techy edges as well. This remix will bring huge waves of energy and good vibes upon any dancefloor in the coming months. Heatbeat & Kent & Gian put their hands upon Stresstest and deliver the goods for the big rooms. If you love the Heatbeat style that is playful tech trance with chunky dirty parts and big euphoric melodic breakdown this remix will satisfy you completely. Its creative and full of fun parts for that big clubfloor action. Last but not least is Revolution9 remix on Raw Deal. This is UK trance at its best with tribal trance beats, dark vocal sample and very cool breakdown that is atmospheric and perfect to tease your audience but its not too long before the monster synths will be unleashed to create havoc, hysteria and panic attack on the global trancefloors. Of course when the kick drum returns you get a full on bouncy banging part that recalls in my mind the hard house UK style. Of course there is another short breakdown for the fat synths to shine upon us and finish off the track in melodic blissfulness. Love IT!
