REVIEW: Inkfish - Afraid incl. Brave remix out on Inkfish

The latest Inkfish-track "Afraid" includes a deeeper melancholic mix and a techier but still deep mix.

Recently we've introduced dub techno and deep house producer Chronophone to the world. Tracks from his debut album "Come To Dubby" have been given the thumbs up by everyone from Laurent Garnier to Nick Warren. The exposure have helped Chronophone to land a deal for his second album with Nite Grooves.

He also have been contracted for two ep:s on King Street. Congrats!
The Inkfish track "Loving" have spent a few weeks on the Beatport deep house top ten, fighting it out with tracks from Ellum Audio, Stil Vor Talent and many more. It was also charted top five on Larses february chart, a joy for us since his "So Long"-track is a huge favourite.

Superstar The Scumfrog, with several Billboard Dance top tens among his merits just released his track Running through us. It have been a featured release on Beatport during the last week and comes with two Inkfish-mixes.

Finally, we are celebrating our 100th release on the label. "Afraid" is kind of a follow up to our previously mentioned "Loving". The second mix of the track aims for techier mainrooms, with plenty of omph in that stab.



Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb label of quality Electronic beats and pieces Inkfish is back with a very cool release ready made for the more minimal tech house floors with the title Afraid. So if you wait a big epic Swedish house sound better search for something else as in this release we go back in the Essence of cool minimal tech house music. The Original mix of Afraid with emphasis in the house side  is chunky and very bubbly too with cool percussion and dark atmosphere ready for a risky adventure that you can hear in the background cool melodies and vocal samples too. On the other side the Brave remix of Afraid with emphasis on the techno side is equally spacey, dark and moody with tougher rockier percussion but on the same playful hypnotic sexy sound. Better check it out and get over your fears! Like IT!
