REVIEW: Hanski - Placebo - E.P out on Infraprogressive

1 - Placebo (Original Mix)
2 - Acapulco (Original Mix)
3 - The Ambush (Original Mix)

Hanski joins us for his second outing on InfraProgressive, hot off the heels of his last release which picked up support from the likes of Above & Beyond.

Treating us to another three part E.P, the uber talented producer drops some of the finest progressive beats we have heard in some time.

Placebo heads the package with its distinctive bass pattern, clever percussion arrangements and big guitar lead all fusing together to great effect, while Hanski serves up something slightly different in Acapulco and The Ambush respectfully.

If house style lead sounds are your thing, then Acapulco is the one for you, while The Ambush provides a perfect filler with its throbbing bassline and sweet synth line.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Infraprogressive is on great shape touching the new sounds of today and delivering a new smashing EP by Hanski. If you love creative twisted progressive trance with house and electro influences you are going to love this EP. The perfect warm up tracks for the big room sound set included and wait for you to drop them and set the right atmosphere too. First of all Placebo that starts with playful electro trance style beats and basslines along with sweety melodies on top. The breakdown is a great pay off moment as a guitar like distorted riff is introduced along with huge synths and great little electronic sounds. The main part is upbeat with groove and even funk but with those summery melodic themes offering that touch we need to get overexcited on the dancefloor. Next is The Ambush that uses the same groovy soundbed and upon applies a beautiful piano melody that takes us on the main breakdown that heavenly style voices introduced on a cinematic sound scape along with a massive synthy lead that is revealed to raise some eyebrows and hands in the air too. The main part playful and very colourful too perfect for progressive and tech trance sets too. Last but not least if you like the Swedish epic House sound why not to choose  the awesome Acapulco. As the title suggests is a beautiful latin infused big room progressive house banger with big synths and those feel good piano riffs that when you hear them immediately take you on Rio De Janeiro for a carnival time to remember. Love IT!
