The highly acclaimed debut album "All We Have Is Now" by New York based vocalist and singer/songwriter Betsie Larkin so far saw the single release of the title track (produced by Super8 & Tab) and "The Dream"; a production by John O'Callaghan. Both tracks harvested the support from the big names in the industry and got hammered for weeks. Betsie's brand new single "The Offering", a collaboration with DJ/Producer Sied van Riel, is set to shoot up the charts soon as well.
Betsie enjoyed the process of working with different producers on her album: “It was really fun experiencing all of the different processes for writing. With some we started from one of my older alternative rock songs or I laid down some piano with a vocal and let the producer create music around the idea. I only started from a finished instrumental on one track, which was “The Offering” produced and arranged Sied van Riel."
DJ/Producer Sied van Riel immediately noticed the overwhelming response from his audience when he played "The Offering" in his live sets. Finally the single is available for everyone including remixes by Andy Duguid and Save The Robot.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Betsie Larkin superb album All We Have Is Now is fantastic source for tracks that can become singles with additional remixes of course. Now its time for an absolute crowd favourite that after public demand and fantastic crowd reaction will become the next hit single and that is Betsie's collaboration with the Dutch power force man Sied van Riel. The Offering includes beautiful heartfelt lyrics and outstanding heartbreaking performance by Betsie who surprise us all once again with her ability to shine upon the prog trance soundbed that Sied van Riel has composed for her. The original mix is an atmospheric big room progressive banger with highly energetic beats and tech trance influences perfect for those peak time moments. Just watch the dancefloor when the huge epic synthy riff rises in the breakdown ready to make big damage like any uncontrollable snowstorm. Two fantastic remixes complete the release in perfect fashion of course. First of all is the superb Save The Robot who service us a huge epic prog house version with superb build up and progression with chopped vocals and absolutely stunning tribal prog house beats along with lovely melodies and warm synths on top. The breakdown is large as it can gets as Save The Robot offering their best remix until now. Last but not least is the talented dj and producer Andy Duguid who offers a wonderful 8 minutes epic progressive trance version that uses powerful percussion, driving basslines and Betsie voice to stand out once again. Short breakdown that Betsie sings her first lyrics and very soon the bubbly prog trance beat comes to support her until to reach the long breakdown that starts with classical music influenced melody and then Andy introduce his brand new uplifting synthy riff that is quite playful and sparkling and very different from the one used in the other mixes. It's an interesting alternative route from the man with different faces and sounds. Quality package not to be missed! Love IT!
