With his first compilation CD in stores, releases on labels like Flamingo Recordings, In Charge Records, Be Yourself Music & Black Hole Recordings and with support from all great international DJs, you could say that 2011 was a very good year for Mell Tierra. To close this year in style he comes up with two ‘secret weapons’ on ‘the label back home’: Extended Music!
“Mell Tierra – Arashi” has been his personal favorite of the past months. This track is one huge bomb that will break down every floor for sure: A grand melodic anthem, combined with big beats are the key elements of this track. The second one is a track with an oriental touch, tough beats and big room synths - which are Mell’s sound characteristics: “Mell Tierra – Nagoya”

The top EP includes two really beautiful tracks ready made for clubfloor domination. If you like your beats to be big, fat and bouncy Arashi is the melodic gem you were searching for to spice up your set in the best possible way. The breakdown is sweet and hides a top piano pizzicato type of melody on the style that Avicii and the rest of the Swedish House style sound deliver at the moment. My favorite on the pack is the smashing Nagoya. It has more intense power, unregulated energy and unresistable rhythm. It uses influences from the dirty Dutch house sound passed through the filters of Mell Tierra of course. The breakdown reveals a very cool little melody that will make many hands raised in the air. When the rough and touch beats along with that metalic squeeky bassline is back your dancefloor will explode in seconds. Satisfaction is guaranteed big time. Like IT!
