1. Forgotten
2. Goodbye Tonight
2. Goodbye Tonight
Deepcraft presents the Deepcraft EP on the In Trance We Trust imprint, featuring the titles “Forgotten” and “Goodbye Tonight”.
When it comes to delivering massive trance tracks, it is clear that Deepcraft masters all the skills to ready, aim and fire bull’s eye for the dance floor. Opening the EP with the sparkling “Forgotten”, Deepcraft takes off with a bang and rolls out a killer arrangement that leans heavily on big, spacious strings, hammering beats and a smooth layer of padded synths. The symphonic build up of the track makes way for a stupendous break that might as well have been written in the heydays of classical music. Once track kicks back in with full climax, you just know that your audience will scream “Tune!” loudly, hands in the air.
“Goodbye Tonight”, the second title in the EP, continues the good feeling from the first track. “Goodbye Tonight” starts off as a true ‘intro mix’ with an almost two minute long, slightly classical chillout intro. As soon as the bass and beats kick, the song unfolds the plan and drenches everyone in thick layers of synth chords with a far away, fragile piano playing in the back ground. The break is once again a marvel of pure emotion and soft strings but beware, ‘cause to reach the ultimate bang for the buck, Deepcraft powers up with incredible synth sweeps and extra snares until the real climax sets in and every DJ knows that this is a hit he simply has to have. Chart topping new EP!
Dimitri Kechagias review: In Trance We Trust is a label that is open to new ideas, fresh artists and wicked tracks. The brand new release is pure uplifting trance heaven of course on a label that knows better than anyone else what trance is all about. Deepcraft delivers a stunning EP with straight forward feel good trancers that will satisfy old trance heads like me but im sure will mesmerize the young trance followers as well. Forgotten is a beautiful high quality trancer that stands out because of its fantastic uncomplicated flow and that feeling of hearing a track that is deep rooted in the trance tradition. You can close your eyes and start dreaming with it. The breakdown is calming enough until the superb floating beats come back for the main uplifting part. Its simple, pure, clean and clear trance at it should be. Goodbye Tonight is the more playful of the two on that quality EP. Its progressive trance with electro and tech influences with superb trancy piano melody on top. It starts all wobbly and bubbly but soon grows really huge and become a beautiful floating flashing trancer. The breakdown becomes really exciting with the huge synthy riffs but again never gets over the top. Two great tracks for another ultra strong EP. Love It!
