Dimitri Kechagias review: Blu Fin is definitely one of the finest techno labels that support superb artists and all the releases during 2011 were simply unmissable if you adore techno at its purest and most intriguing form. Electric Rescue EP has the type of tracks that will drive any dancefloor wild and out of their heads. Techno with soul and solid composition that pump ups your heart body and soul non stop. A Better Place is a dark solid techno monster size anthem that uses movie samples in the finest way to add to its dark and sinister atmosphere repeating the phrase a better place. Solid and rounded beats will get you going on the dancefloor for sure along with dark melodies and effects to get you on that underground mood. Arpeggiamore is driving techno affair that reminds me some of the great tracks from the Eye Q/Harthouse era. Swirling sounds, melodic layers and vocal effects working together for a very hypnotic track ready to get you screaming for more. I can imagine deep trance/prog trance djs using this beauty as well. The Answer is a slower affair with distorted dark spoken vocal and acid samples for that dirty, glitzy, smoky atmosphere perfect to get you back on the virtues of real techno music. Love all 3 and I hope more djs will get behind this EP.
