REVIEW: Perry & Chris Domingo - Latitude out on Fris!/Black Hole

Perry and Chris Domingo present their latest single on the “Fris!” imprint, entitled “Latitude”.

Many will already be familiar with Chris Domingo, producer, DJ and founder of db Records, Breaks Collective Records, Loveclub, Domingo Brothers, and Chakra Blue. Most notably famous for his progressive productions, he now teams up with brother Perry to deliver “Latitude”, another superb single from the realms of the really good progressive cuts. Based on a nice and slow BPM, the brothers open “Latitude” with incredibly inviting, almost club style house beats. Once the theme sets in however, there’s no escaping the subtle bass line and melody programming, which immediately drags the focus to the sparsely lit and crowded dance floor of a true late night progressive live set.

The remix package features a broad selection of absolutely state of the art and deep, kick ass progressive versions that have to be pre-listened from start to finish. An allover sound reminding many of the fans of extensive live sets from heavy weights like for instance Sasha, John Digweed, Anthony Papa and Lee Burridge is exactly what makes “Latitude” by Perry & Chris Domingo such a killer track.



Dimitri Kechagias review: Fris! is the label that serves you well for your progressive needs and now two great producers that happen to be brothers collaborate in the studio for a warm action packed progressive house beauty. It has the lovely warm prog house beats with great electronic melodic riffs on top along with serious prog house sounds that create that sense of a long and sweaty journey. The very hot at the moment Darin Epsilon touch the track and turn it into his own thing. He starts with a nice cool intro and continues with tougher bubbly bouncy techy sharp cheeky tribal beats and on top that electronic little riff to add that lost in space feeling. Darin also introduces  a brand new feel good latin retro influenced kind of  riff that gives the sense of a balearic house late night atmosphere. DJ Odium provides a very cool minimal prog house version that is relaxing smooth and playful to warm up your crowd. Latenight Society Remix goes for a very slow cinematic  style version that uses drum n bass, breaks and tech house influences in one very cheeky version. Lastly Sun H goes for a long mind tripping experience that you will enjoy if you go for experimental moody sounds. So much choice for a great release. Like IT!
