Hot out of the Swedish city of Gothenburg comes the warm, proggy sound of upcoming producers Dreas and Alex Robert. Together, they fight winter with ‘The Other Side’ E.P. on the Soundpiercing label!
Sweden’s got some beats to serve. One of its offspring, is young talent Andreas Lindell. He made his debut on the A State of Trance label in 2009, with ‘Blade Runner’, followed by the melodic ‘Spirit’ in 2010. At the eve of 2012, he invites Alex Robert for a three track adventure on Soundpiercing.
‘The Other Side’ is a gentle, melodically flowing piece of music, tender at first, but kicking in right after the break. ‘Miramar’, driven by lush guitar and a playful beat, gives the E.P. that energetic touch. Last but not least, there’s ‘Lumi’, the more trancy of the three. ‘Lumi’ completes the trio pack with stabby synths, piano and a soothing melody.

One jewel after the other with the latest being the massive Dreas vs Alex Robert - The Other Side E.P. Three great tracks with original ideas, uniqueness and freshness to keep our trance addiction alive and kicking. First of all the beautiful The Other Side that will tranfer you for 7 minutes to places that you have never been before. Superb bubbly beats and huge epic synthy riff to start jumping and dancing with wide smile. Proglifting sounds to rejoice your mind body and soul for sure. Secondly Miramar is a warm delicious balearic trancer with electro and tech influences with main element that stand out the massive balearic guitar riff that brings magically memories of summer holidays that passed or the ones that would love to experience in the summer of 2012. Of course choped vocal samples are included as well to create that heavenly atmosphere. Last but not least Lumi is the more upbeat driving but on the same summery warm atmosphere that we need desperately as we have to cope with temperatures below zero celsius. The feel good atmosphere is highlighted with that great epic ravey distorted riff that runs through the main section of the track for those hands in air parts of your set. A real and pure trance winner for sure. Three top tracks for the big festivals of the winter.
