REVIEW: Alex O'Rion - Changing Pace out on Black Hole recordings

1. Alex Bigger Room Mix
2. Erick Strong Digital Mix
3. Slava Flash Remix
4. Album Mix

Alex O’Rion drops his brand new single “Changing Pace” on the Black Hole imprint.

Initially, "Changing Pace" was the first track of the EP that was released as the prelude to his album entitled “The Bigger Room”. With "Changing Pace" in the Bigger Room Mix, Alex sets a new standard in trance production and delivers a driving track that will work perfectly for both progressive and trance DJs. An incredible theme is what it is all about and the melody is both symphonic as it is dramatic; a real hitsingle for the ones that are into deep and touching songs like this. Listen closely to what happens after the intro has introduced "Changing Pace", 'cause it is right there and then that the production really changes pace and moves towards a 4/4 beat pattern with an arpeggiated synth line in a different rhythm. The end result is an exciting basis for the theme of the track that comes to full bloom, a moment that will give the people on the dance floor goose bumps. Many will focus on the break and put their hands in the air to enjoy the tight 4/4 beat programming again.

Do not miss the fabulous remixes by Erick Strong and Slava Flash, ‘cause in both cases we’re dealing with superb new versions, ready to rock the place. Erick Strong underlines the change in pace and rhythm in a more progressive fashion while Slava Flash puts things in a strong, trance aimed perspective. Hot stuff for the clubs!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alex O'Rion had a massive 2011 with performances in many well known festivals and the release of his first album. Now its time for the master of melodic tech trance to return with a stunning package of remixes in his anthemic Changing Pace that is already on high rotation on many well known radio shows such as ASOT. Alex provides his big room version of the track that will become instantly your favorite. Bouncy, driving, melodic, epic and anthemic, big rooms will adore this version and djs will can not get enough of it. Erick Strong who is on big demand right now provides a spanking tougher version with electro house/dubstep/tech trance and progressive influences  all mixed up in an explosive package ready made to cause the biggest damage on the dancefloor. Particularly the main part is super special and you will be with hands in the air without even noticing it. Slava Flash well known for their very  distinctive progressive house sound this time provide a trancier version with tough basslines, choped vocals, piano riffs and  dramatic melodies creating an unforgetable listening and clubbing experience. The package includes the album mix too. Top stuff to rock the christmas holiday dancefloors. Like IT!
