Celebrated house duo Loverush UK have teamed up with rock legend Bryan Adams to create the future club classic ‘Tonight In Babylon’.
“Bryan's writing and his voice inspired us to work with him,” says Loverush UK’s Mark Schneider about the collaboration. “‘Run To You’ and the epic ‘Don’t Give Up’ with Chicane are massive dance classics for us. We reached out to Bryan and he sent a song for us to work around. Within a week we sent back a full instrumental track, Bryan was in Australia at the time and laid down the vocals there. It was such a buzz to hear Bryan's song and vocal on top of the production.”
Loverush UK are Kinky Roland (Composer/Producer) and Mark ‘Loverush’ Schneider (Co-Producer/DJ/A&R). Hugely respected figures within the dance scene, Roland and Schneider have been working together since 2005, when Schneider was signed to Paul Oakenfold's seminal Perfecto imprint on the smash ‘Perfect Honey (Temptation)’ with Marc Almond (Soft Cell). Loverush UK have been supported by international tastemaker DJs (including William Orbit, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Annie Nightingale, Sister ‘Faithless’ Bliss and many more) and have remixed tracks from Oakenfold, Kylie, Katie Melua, while recently their remix of Nicola Roberts’ debut single ‘Beat Of My Drum’ was championed by Perez Hilton. Also this summer they hooked up with Mory Kante for remake of his classic ‘Yeke Yeke’, which was absolutely huge in Ibiza and a UK Club Chart smash.
Bryan Adams has spent the last three decades making music, selling records, and doing concert tours all over the world. He's achieved #1 status in over 40 countries and earlier this year Bryan was honoured with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has been nominated for, 3 Academy Awards, 5 Golden Globes and won a Grammy. Adams embarks on a UK Arena tour later this month.
‘Tonight In Babylon’ will be serviced to clubs, while Adams also has a new release called ‘Merry Christmas’ on November 20, 2011.
Dimitri Kechagias review: It was premiered by Armin van Buuren in his ASOT radio show and it's already causing a huge buzz in the club scene. Bryan Adams who is a real icon in the rock scene once again breaks the barriers and work with EDM artists as he did with Chicane for the dance classic Dont Give Up. This time the talented duo Loverush UK have the honor to work with Bryan on the very beautiful anthem "Tonight in Babylon" that is destined to storm inside the club charts and pop charts when later in the next year will be released as a single. The original version follows the much loved Loverush UK style that is a great mixture of progressive house and trance in one explosive package. The vocal stands out of course and is supported by the driving beats along with those rock guitar riffs in the background. The club package includes 3 amazing remixes that the one is better than the other. First of all the much hyped Protoculture remix who provides his bubbly refreshing balearic liquid style that is so relaxing refreshing but very energetic and hands in the air at the same time with influences certainly from Chicane. The superb production team Ronski Speed with Stoneface & Terminal collaborate to add their highly energetic stamp that combines electro, tech and progressive trance elements in the best and most effective combination. Bryan Adams vocal sounds so cool upon their stompy electro beats. Of course the highlight moment is the superb breakdown that along with the lovely vocals, the ambient atmospheres, the rock quitar samples, the huge lovely synths revealed that will send any clubber to Babylon for sure. The main part will work as the uplifting climax that human bodies will flow for sure upon the air. Just sit back and watch when you will drop it. Last but least the king of balearic trance goes all the way for an epic prog house version. Roger Shah once again proves his ability to turn anything he touches into a huge powerful emotional rollercoaster. This is a megahit and already number 1 in my weekly trance chart! Note: While I was playing this tune in my show I cried a little, dont ask me why. Its megahuge, Love IT!
