Serbian producer Marko Cubric makes an accomplished debut on our sister imprint with a two track E.P. under his popular Vintage & Morelli guise.
Kicking things off in somewhat unique fashion is Flight Of The Phoenix and as the name suggests, it takes you on a wondrous journey throughout with inspirational melodies, vibrant synths and a driving mid-range.
Frenchman Eric Franchet is on hand with a classy remix of the lead track which packs a firm punch and has a chunkier feel than the original.
Smile Of My Life completes the package, with its deeper undertone and a smooth groove, this is a beautifully crafted progressive track that any producer would be proud of!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Perceptive deep pushes the boundaries of what we widely term as progressive music with wide variety of styles and emotions. This time Vintage & Morelli compose two great and quite different tracks as well. The original mix of the Flight of the Phoenix is quite dreamy soothing travelling progressive trance beauty with uplifting melodies. It starts with breakbeat and soon the beat comes in to get our hearts following its groovy rhythm. The breakdown is really long with ambient noises, huge drops and swirling synthys along with squeezed voices like samples that give the impression of a calming recreational sonic experience. Eric Franchet remix is quite shorter and adopts a more electro/prog house approach with quite stompy metalic beat adding some toughens to the airy fairy original. The EP includes the track Smile of My Life. As the title suggest will bring Smile in your Face and consequently in your life too. Its once again really well-tempered with piano melodies feel good and optimistic. If you put this as an alarm tune in your smart phone you will start your days in the finest way. Check iT!
