Crowning Orkidea’s ‘20’ album is his new '15th Anniversary' mix of ‘Unity’. The track that started it all for him, it set an enormous precedent for his production career and was in effect Finland’s first trance release. Having been champed by the proverbial cross-section of DJs on its original release (including Sasha, Tong, Oakenfold, Warren, Seaman and numerous others), its elite legacy lives on with his special 15th Anniversary remix of Unity, which expands the track into a jaw-dropping 10+ minute soundscape. We're also including Orkidea's own '15th Anniversary Intro Mix', which encompasses all the epicness of his club mix but with a lush expansive slowly building intro.


Solarstone, as devoted an Orkidea fan as you could ever hope to find, was delighted to turn his remixing hand to one of his all-time favourite tracks, and his 'Pure' mix is, in Orkidea's own words, "one of Solarstone's best ever remixes". Solarstone's 'Pure' trance sound focuses on the raw ingredients of the perfect trance record; groove, melody & emotion delivered with pristine refined production. His remix of 'Unity' has all the hallmarks of that classic Solarstone sound we all know and love. Its already heavily played and supported by Armin van Buuren in his show ASOT.

Fellow Fin Allende deepens proceedings a touch with a more mellow progressive trance mix for those lazy evenings and earlier sets.

 Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the biggest progressive trance anthems of all times is back with brand new versions. The Orkidea 15th Anniversary mix is included in his recently released monumental album Twenty that is out now on Solaris recordings. It is such a fantastic idea to bring back this awesome record with a huge package of top notch quality versions. First of all the brand new version by Orkidea stays true to the original spirit but extends it in a way for the modern dancefloors. With more drive and acid overtones along with spoken female vocals upon the ethnic characteristic ones from the original plus swirling synths and spacey effects to take you on a journey through time and space. Rich Solarstone busy as ever provides his version too entitled Pure mix and I believe it describes well the essence of this stunning version that takes trance back where it should be from the first place. Powerful, dynamic, pure and honest this is trance as it should be done. High quality timeless electronic masterpiece for sure. Allende from his side transforms the track into a slower balearic trance affair that is very relaxing, soothing, perfect to daydream and dance. The package includes the very useful intro mix. Who doesnt aspire to open his set with this beauty! Unity is back and lets hope the essence of trance will be back soon. This release is a very encouraging sign! Support Trance, Support Unity!
