It’s the biggest project Armin van Buuren has ever worked on. 2 years of hard work, producing and jamming came together in 16 highlights of tracks, to be found on ‘Mirage’. This musical journey emerged as the fourth album of the Dutch superstar, including collaborations with the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ferry Corsten, BT, Nadia Ali, Guy Chambers, Christian Burns and Adam Young of Owl City. As Armin likes to put it:”It’s been a journey, an epic one.”
‘Mirage’ received golden status in The Netherlands and Poland, and is nominated for a Dutch Edison Award. To celebrate this wonderful feat and provide Armin’s fans something extra special, we now present the Deluxe Edition of ‘Mirage’. This must-have package includes the original album and bonus tracks, as well as a CD with previously unreleased remixes of the tracks, not to be found on ‘Mirage – The Remixes’. Last but not least, the Deluxe Edition also contains a DVD with all music videos of the single releases, as well as many, many extra’s!

Dimitri Kechagias review: As it seems if you are into electronic dance music and you search for a nice Christmas gift you just founded. Armada music packs with even more goodies Armin's monumental album Mirage and here you get Mirage, Deluxe Edition. The package is the hottest that you can get as it includes brand new reworks of some of the finest Armin's moments from bright young and successful producers. First of all the massive Mirage is reworked by the German prog trance genius Dennis Sheperd. He is awesome as always with his playful proglifting style that works like a treat with the anthemic theme of the original. Leon Bolier one of the finest representatives of tech trance reworks Desiderium 207 in his very own superb style with bubbly groovy wobbly beats and upon the Susana mesmerizing voice that will raise many hands in the air for sure. Armin van Buuren feat. Nadia Ali classic Who’s Watching is remixed by the Swedish trance god Mike Shiver in his proglifting style of Garden State. He is pure genius and he breathes new life on that unforgetable classic that Nadia Ali sounds so fragile and sensitive. He twists and turns the vocal with electro dirty twisted basslines and chunky groovy beats and with great melodic rays as well on top. Armin van Buuren feat. Jessie Morgan - Love Too Hard is remixed by Ron Hagen & Al-Exander. Their version is progressive with uplifting elements but the real deal is the breakdown that they apply some dubstep influences as well and it simply works big time. Exceptional version with something special in it for sure. I still remember how happy I was when I was playing in my shows back in the days Armin's alter ego hit Rising Star – Touch Me from within the classic TranceMasters compilation series. It was totally different and brand new experience in my ears. Nowadays that Sebastian Brandt is retouching this anthem I'm getting the same shivers and goosebumps in my body. He provides a bouncier uplifting version that will become the end of the night anthem for sure. Full Focus is remixed by Chris Schweizer who turns the track into a playful progressive trance mayhem with big room electro tech trance influences. Who doesnt remember the all time classic Blue Fear that now the gifted and soon superstar Orjan Nilsen turns it into a full on epic prog trance bulldozer with his signature electro and techy influences in play too. Just wait for that unforgetable riff to come up and you can see the crowd screaming and even crying like myself. Take A Moment with the so heartfelt lyrics full of wisdom is going the big progressive trance room style by The Blizzard who provides the excellent soundtrack for the vocal to shine upon it and bring goosebumps for sure. The much loved and requested for remixes Maor Levi delivers the full on uplifting trance version for Rain that flows so nicely and smoothly with great rocky influenced breakdown for the peak time of course. Last but least The Blizzard again retouch Breathe In Deep and deliver an inspiring version with electro trance playful beats with dirty basslines, choped vocals that add new meanings and open new readings for the awesome vocal.
