REVIEW: Ian Betts - Pressure Drop / Under Below out on Discover

1) Ian Betts - Pressure Drop (Original Mix)
2) Ian Betts - Under Below (Original Mix)

Since his first remix on Discover back in 2006, Ian Betts has embodied the Discover sound whilst simultaneously giving it his own unique twist

His debut single.'False Gods' featured as one of the first Discover White Label singles gaining universal support from both underground and A list DJ's.

Now, fresh from delivering a superb remix of Nick Callaghan and Will Atkinson's "Eastern Skies", Ian returns with a new double-headed single to see in the cold Winter months...

'Pressure Drop' combines a high-pressure synth-line with a plucky 303-bassline while 'Under Below' completes the package as a veritable Trance monster; with delightful highs and a deep driving pace.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Discover continues to service to the global trance community big chunks of euphoria and the brand new Ian Betts is not an exception of course. Ian delivers to our door ready for club use two superb and solid tunes. Pressure Drop is a fast and really furius energetic trancer on the classic trance tip that will relax you on the very atmospheric breakdown that huge rays of synths will make your hair from your back  to stand still  and then when the beat comes back with take on a dreamy journey. If you like trance as it used to be that recalls early 2000 sounds then you will like a lot this track. Under Below has a tougher meatier bassline and sounds much more energetic upfront and what we call as peak time weapon in contrast with Pressure Drop that can be used to bridge uplifting and tech trance selections. Under Below utilizes acid lines and creates a tougher dirtier atmosphere. Overall is an EP that will satisfy the classic Discover records followers. Both track have the typical and always current sound of the label.
