Teased out in Above & Beyond's Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 in August, Bart Claessen's Lost Dub of Above & Beyond's now-classic "Sun & Moon" has been waiting patiently in the shadows of dark throbbing 3am clubs ever since. And now comes the time for it to rise into the forefront. 

Building an intense, throbbing techno-charged groove, Dutch master Claessen leads into a twisting interpretation on the anthemic synths from the original - eventually pushing them through in a climatic melodic release. A peaktime monster, Claessen's remix delivers the goods in emphatic style.

Emergent talent Chris Schweizer follows up some strong productions this year with his own electro-edged trance groover. 

Adding an alternative take on the track, Ibiza DJ Paul Hill brings a Balearic touch to the table with his ambient electronica Sunset 2 Moonrise rework.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Sun and Moon was one of the finest singles taken from Above's & Beyond highly eclectic album Group Therapy. Now we treated first class with some addition remixes. First of all the awesome Dutch master Bart Claessen adds his thumpy techno meets house and trance  influenced bouncy mix that has the word Peak Time written all over. His usual driving wild grungy style pushes the original into dirtier filthy moments. Of course some part of the vocal is present along with those big room synthy stabs.  Chris Schweizer is rockin at the moment with many of his mixes surfacing lately and his version is creative, with clever alterations of the melody and the vocal. This producer really goes out of his head and transforms the original into a wild and free prog monster that runs furius so better press play and allow the magic to happen. Last but not least a massive ambient loungy version by Paul Hill perfect for those early mornings that you want to relax after a hot night out. So special and beautiful 3 additional mixes worth being out and about to reach a wider audience.
