First State teams up with vocalist Tyler Sherrit for his latest single -now remixed- on the Magik Muzik imprint, entitled “Maze”.

First State recently released his mix compilation called “The Whole Nine Yards”, which features some of his own productions, one of them being “Maze”.

This is the latest in a long line of new productions that see First State highlight his personal approach on the Progressive House sound. “Maze” features a complex arrangement of rough ripping synths, signature classical piano riffs and live drums that are all strung together with a definitive hammering kick drum that sets the Progressive drive, whilst the captivating vocals of Tyler Sherritt pierce through… and listen out for the “heartbeat” in the initial breakdown of the track that almost literally brings the track, and the dance floor to life.

“Maze” simply asked for some serious remixing and this full to the brim package will ignite dancefloors everywhere. Just check out the superb versions by Patric La Funk, Shane Halcon and Jake Shanahan and you’ll know immediately what it’s about. All of the above considered, this track is the perfect example of the new “Trouse” genre that everyone’s hyping about. With Tyler Sheritt’s vocals and the tight production of First State, “Maze” is a true chart topper!

Dimitri Kechagias review: I was very impressed when I recieved the original mix of Maze cause simply First State high quality composition will cause waves of euphoria whenever will be droped supported by the great vocal that is unique and has the perfect fit for Sander's exquisite production. The remix package that supports the original is the best that can get for the high level of the original. Patric La Funk provides a superb version perfect for any big room epic progressive house set. It has definitely a housier approach and that vocal sounds so lovely upon the fat stompin beats that Patric prepared for all of us aka the party freaks worldwide. Shane Halcon who is also a great upcoming talent provides the big room progressive house alternative. Really large electro trance beats with playful composition and intresting twists to keep the hands waving in the air. Shane is one to watch and he will strike back with some great new productions. Jake Shanahan goes all the way to Sweden for some house excursions and his remix push the original to the limit with top addition of large synthy stabs to keep that smile in our face. He adds even a brand new melodic riff on top making the most of the original. If you dont like the vocal there are instrumental versions too. You will adore this, its Beautiful!
