Growing from strong, white-label remixes to his first vocal release, Blake Jarrell presents the contagious ‘Say What You Will’ featuring Michael S.. A sparkling new addition to the slew of powerful originals of the American producer.

In the early days of his musical career, there was one particular thing that made Blake Jarrell stand out. If ever there were vocals involved, the Chicago-based DJ/producer performed magic. His mash-ups, bootlegs and remixes - some white label, some successfully released - became his long-awaited stepping stone to a professional career in music. In the time following, EDM land would witness the versatility of his sound, from proggy depth to growling-bass mayhem, with tracks such as ‘Punta Del Este’, ‘I Think I’m In Love’ and ‘Maresias’. Half a decade later, this talent looks back upon a slew of stunning origina ls, massive response to his remixes and his first ‘Concentrate’ compilation.

But Blake is no guy to dwell in the past and persistency brought him to the next chapter: his first vocal collaboration. And definitely not the least, if we may say so. Michael S. is the voice behind the feel-good ride that is ‘Say What You Will’. With Chicago as the home base to both Michael and Blake, these guys share more than just a passion for music and that’s showing in the result. Michael S., being one of the fastest rising singer/songwriters at the moment, completes this contagious track with his warm voice, bridging the gap between prog-house and pop.  There’s really nothing there to keep this jewel from storming the charts, as well as the dance floor.

German duo Dohr & Mangold provide a playful remix to ‘Say What You Will’, sweeping it with a deep and melodic but electro fusing sound. If the original didn&t make the clubs explode enough already, this remix will.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Zouk spoil us with bombastic releases and surprise us once again with a massive house anthem that clubs and prog house djs simply can not afford not to adore it and play it straight way. Blake Jarell is well known for his deep basslines and his exceptional smooth underground compositions. With this release on Zouk marks a turning point in his career as he  delivers what we call nowadays Big Room progressive house sounds with the amazing addition of Michael S that has that sweet lurring sexy voice and seems to be the perfect choice to raise this great track to the next level and why not to crossover to the mainstream daytime radio shows as well. Overall the original mix is the perfect after summer interlude because when you listen to it you feel a warm breeze of air touching softly your skin for sure. On the other side the always banging duo of Dohr & Mangold provide a big room prog house version as well but with carnival  tribal house and dirty dutch influences  as well. Its the perfect alternative for those who like it harder and more underground. Zouk can not go wrong and deliver another sure winner. Dub mixes included as well and great accapella for your mash up experiments. Go and get creative with it. Expect to see it flying in the playlists and charts of radio stations worldwide.
