FEATURE:13 Armada DJ’s in critically acclaimed DJ Mag Top 100

On Thursday 21st of October  at the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam, the results of the infamous DJ Mag Top 100 Poll were announced. This year, 13 Armada DJ’s are featured in the list, of which 3 in the Top 10. After a historic number one position for four years in a row, Armin van Buuren became second this year. Dash Berlin, who entered the poll as a new entry at number 15 last year, now enjoys the 8th position in the DJ Mag Top 100, closely followed by number 9, Markus Schulz.

The rise of new talents this year is especially noticeable. Ørjan Nilsen and Tenishia both made it to the Top 100 as a new entry, at respectively the 49th and 91st place. W&W, the Dutch duo that released their debut album ‘Impact’ last month, rose from 71 to number 36. Egyptian duo Aly & Fila, owners of the Future Sound of Egypt label, ended up at position 22.

Australian producer/DJ tyDi, who has been named number one DJ in his home country twice already, made it to number 48 in the DJ Mag. After him, at 50, we find British DJ Andy Moor, German Magic Island label owner Roger Shah at 51 and the number one DJ of Ireland, John O’Callaghan at 52.

He is the inventor of Balearic Trance substyle with his label Magic Island , Roger Shah at number 51

He is the master of uplifting and tech trance and label owner  of Subculture, the Irish JOC at number 52

Hungarian duo Myon & Shane 54, whose debut album will be released next year, climbed to 66. The legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold, until 2004 a solid name in the Top 10 of the DJ Mag Top 100, now takes in the 69th position.
