Super8 & Tab - Irufushi (Adam Nickey Remix)
Super8 & Tab feat. Jan Burton - Mercy (Alex Kunnari Remix)
A much sought-after track ever since its appearance on last year's "Anjunabeats Worldwide:02", Adam Nickey's surging remix of Super8 & Tab's "Irufushi" finally gets a DJ-friendly release.
Tapping into the pure melodic rush of "Irufushi" perfectly, the Polish star Nickey adds extra layers of euphoria with tweaks and turns on the melody - and a sumptuous piano breakdown.
Adding a groove-fuelled, riff-based spin on "Mercy", Alex Kunnari revitalises Super8 & Tab's much-loved vocal track - completing a smart double pack of remixes.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Super8 and Tab Empire remixed is one of the best selection of remixes on an original album. The finish duo worlwide known for their ability to compose unforgetable melodies and great vocal trance tracks are remixed for this release by the Polish Adam Nickey who really adds a whole new dimension to the original and turn it into what we all know by now as the classic characteristic uplifting Anjunabeats sound. He has the ability to inject any track with some of his greatness and the result for Irufushi is fantastic. Alex Kunnari is a brilliant talent with great releases on top labels like Black Hole and he adds his touch with his progressive trance style on Mercy and the result I can assure you is on the high levels that you expect on any Anjunabeats release. Pure progressive trance heaven with electro trance beats, large synths and strings melody on top until to reach the breakdown that Jan Burton stands out with his rockish but still sensitive voice. The remix continues on big euphoric style with large feel good synthy stabs for hands in the air action. Three great talents on one release is a must have in my opinion.
