Dimitri Kechagias review: Discover Dark is one of the main providers of what we term today as dark tech trance that is tougher that the usual uplifting trancers and is characterized by its tough bouncy beats and sharp basslines. This great sampler taken from the latest compilation includes 3 really exciting releases cater for the big uplifting rooms. Get Exact is a superb fat and stomping tech trancer with hands in the air enlightening break down and tough but really playful and quite melodic main part. Passenger Dropped... applies upon the uplifting beat old school ravey basslines that lead us on the calming breakdown that gets quite early dark and sinister with all the old school sounds that drive the track forward. If you want to see the adrenaline riding high this is simply the best way to do it. Lastly the best track in the package is Akira's rework of Civitanova. Big anthemic hands in the air trance with beautiful sweet melodies that floats so well with epic melodramatic classical music influenced breakdown with plucky piano melodies and synthys to raise the hair from your back. The big pay off moment comes on the large climax of the track on the main part that you will feel obliged to dance and smile along with your fellow trance members of the global trancefloors. This is destined to ride really high in the trance charts and is highly recommended.
