REVIEW: Mike Delta - Game Over out on Neuroscience recordings

Mike Delta - Game Over (Original Mix)
Mike Delta - Game Over (Fergus Keogh Remix)
Mike Delta - Game Over (Craig Gallon 1 Credit Remaining Remix)

Up next on Neuroscience Recordings is a superb release from up-and-coming UK talent Matt Davey's alter ego, Mike Delta. His previous release on Neuroscience Deep saw the support of DJs such as Artento Divini and tyDi, and he's also had the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and Aly & Fila supporting his productions under his own name. There's lots more to come from this talented producer, so keep an eye on him!

'Game Over' is a great progressive track, with some tasty tech house influences. The track has a driving sound, with a chunky feel. The track has a great groove with the use of some well placed percussion. This is a great example of 'less is more'... Mike Delta uses this sounds wisely, and creates plenty of movement. Of course, we're treated to his now trademark vocal sample! We think this track has a big-room feel, and deserved a place on the main label!

On remix duties we have the rising Irish talent Fergus Keogh. Fergus has created a massive remix with plenty of crossover appeal. Overall, his remix has a solid feel with hints of techno, but also crosses in to trance territory with it's atmospheric building drops. Nice work here!

Finally, we have our old friend Craig Gallon making a welcomed return to the label. Craig has dropped the BPM on his remix and has delivered an outstanding laid-back tech house track. Craig's bass line and percussion work well to create a sweet summer time groove. A great remix to complete the package!

Check it out!

Dimitri Kechagias review: If you follow Neuroscience recordings closely through the years you are aware of the quality output and this new release is not an exception. If you love great melodies interplay with deep blissful basslines then Game Over is definitely a game starter.Very driving with spacey effects and cool melody along with the vocal sample that states that wanna play a game. Melodic progressive house at its very finest. Fergus Keogh remix adds a trancier approach with tribalish beats and big room synths on the breakdown to raise the tension and the temperature at its highest level. The vocal is used more often and really adds more style on the whole track.Craig Gallon offers some summer sunshine in his funky tech house remix that is 9 whole minutes of deep groovies, melodies, organ melodies and that vocal sample again. It's the kind of the track that keep any underground dancefloor moving without compromises. Great release that you should explore in your dancefloor shortly.
