Lodos releases another single on Echelon after 2 years from his debut on the label in 2009. The new release, "Unfaithful", is a progressive trance tune with a strong melodic emphasis. The track consists of a shorter up-beat intro part, followed by the main part with a dramatic melodic theme. The development is rather long-line and builds smoothly on a sombre string layer and the theme itself has an emotionally intense character. Planisphere shows his masterful melodic skills in this deep and intricate remix, laying several counterpoint melodies together into a beautiful tone fabric. The tempo is a bit slower suiting the harmonic and meditative mood of the track. The alternative adds another side in the release with some roaming bass and melodic variation.

You can expect on the original version a very beautiful melodic spacious journey into the deepest and unknown sides of human soul. Alternative mix adds rougher edges on the original and in a way makes it appropriate for more energetic based sets. On the other side Planisphere provides a really deep and very sensational mix that is one of the finest example of deep loungy like balearic melodic trance. Overall a very descent package that should be checked out.
