A new member to the league of upcoming UK producers is Scotsman Garry Heaney. Making his way up since 2009 and killing silence with tracks like ‘Citation’, ‘X Marks The Spot’ and ‘Rockstar Draft’, now results in his debut release on the A State of Trance label.
‘Oracle’ is the track hammered by the DJ elite, loved by the crowds and now finally released on ASOT. It’s got that highly energetic, synth-driven trance sound of old, mingling with the feel and sound-quality of today. ‘Oracle’ hits in exactly where it should, moving both heart and body.
If you’re craving something that leans towards the prog-trance sound, go for the Luke Bond remix. Focusing on the melodic core of ‘Oracle’ while building up a strong, uplifting trancer makes this a great addition to the release.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Garry Heaney is one of those super talented new artists that each release of him has something special and stands out from the rest. many producers claim that can convey that uplifting spiriti in their tracks but not many can truthfully do it. Garry has that ability and real understanding of how the dynamics of the various sound layers have to put together along with a strong melody in the breakdown that you will remember for days after your crazy night in the club. I'm so glad to see him having a massive release on the most important and influential trance label of the planet the really awesome ASOT. The absolutely perfect peak time Godzilla size original is supported by an awesome remix by Luke Bond who adds drive to its maximum and that sense of flying up and down from the clouds that can make you really relaxed and happy after a hard day in your work. Oracle is a track that gets the ASOT seal of approval so the trance community knows that is a big trancer guaranteed UK style of course!
