A note from James..."It feels great to be finally sending our latest Anjunadeep compilation out into the universe. The gestation period for this one has been longer than usual for a few different reasons (not least freeing up headspace for Above & Beyond and Jody's respective album campaigns), but we hope it's worth the wait.Vietnam felt like an exciting new frontier for the filming aspect and we were blown away by the spectacular scenery and the warmth of the people. It's impossible to single out individual tracks as we love all of them equally, but hopefully you will find your own favourites and discover new beauty in the mix with each listen. Anjunadeep 16 arrives this spring, mixed by label co-founder James Grant and long-time collaborator Jody Wisternoff.
To mark the release, James and Jody travelled to the breathtaking landscapes of Tà Đùng National Park in Vietnam to record a special live performance of the compilation. Filmed across two sessions, this year's compilation sees James and Jody mix a diverse array of melodic offerings across the Anjunadeep, Anjunachill and Explorations roster.
This year, the mixed compilation will be released on CD, and for the first time we present a limited edition 2x12” vinyl sampler, featuring 12 tracks (in extended mix form) across two blue-black marble coloured vinyl.
