When it comes to pop and EDM, Sweden has long punched above its weight, and Otto Knows has played a role in his country’s long winning streak. Born Otto Jettman in 1989, the Stockholm native came up under the wing of local stars like Swedish House Mafia; Jettman’s solo breakthrough came with 2012’s “Million Voices”, whose euphoric synths and vocals epitomised the era’s big-room EDM at its most anthemic moment. In the years since, he’s kept up a quality-over-quantity release schedule, popping up every couple of years with a clutch of singles, each one precision-engineered to strike the perfect balance of dance thrills and radio-ready melody.
Born in London, raised in Stockholm, with an appreciation of her dual musical roots, Amanda Cygnaeus is an artist and songwriter, undefined by genre and committed to a great song, above all else. Splitting time between Sweden and the UK, she has developed strong ties, within a community of creatives, as both a trusted songwriter and an emerging artist, in her own right.
Amanda launched her artist project independently with debut EP “Ugh!”. Lead single “My Name Next To Yours” quickly caught the eyes and ears of Fresh Finds, Vogue Scandinavia, Swedish radio and fans around the world.
“Know Nothing”, followed as the lead single from her sophomore EP "Waterworks". The EP quickly gained traction, landing airplay on BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop and Sweden's P3, while Spotify celebrated her as the face of Fresh Finds Nordics.
In 2024, she joined GRIFF on the Nordic leg of her European tour, captivating audiences with her unique sound and magnetic stage presence and followed up by selling out her first headline show in Stockholm.
Amanda then channelled that momentum back into the studio, penning cuts with Daniela Rathana, Caity Baser, Gatlin, Cloudy June and more, before returning to focus on her own material.
“Willing to Wait”, the sublime lead single from her forthcoming 3rd EP "LOVEGRUNGE", came in November 2024 with the second offering “Miss U” lined up for January 2025 and promising to be her most ambitious release to date.
Outside of music, Amanda is a keen mountain climber and her experiences in the Swedish wilderness often inspire her – whether it's to be in the moment and be still with a breath-taking view or analysing the intricacies of systems which exist in nature.
