Please welcome Audorn producer from Sydney, Australia. Exceptional production that gets already support from the finest DJs in the trance scene. It's gold opportunity for us to have a nice interview with Audorn and find out more about the production process of the track and cool interesting facts and figures from his career so far. The future just started for him and looks bright if we judge from Into The Night!

1-Dimitris: It would be nice to start by telling us your 3 most important achievements or goals fulfilled in your career so far that you very are proud of.

Audorn: Being able to release tracks in a variety of different styles.

2-Dimitris: Why and under which circumstances did you took the decision to start DJing or producing electronic dance music?

Audorn: First and foremost, I was an avid listener of electronic music at a young age. Producer and DJing all started as a hobby I took up, when I was in my early teenage years. It was something I continued to enjoy over many years. I always knew I wanted to have some sort of involvement with it.

3-Dimitris: It would be fantastic to talk about your latest release Into The Night on FSOE. Please tell us how this track came about and what was the idea behind it.

Audorn: Into The Night with Sarah De Warren; I really wanted to create a track that was able to hold the dancefloor, groovy, techy, driving but still had the potential to pull emotion and create special moments. Sarah did such an amazing job delivering an amazing story behind her vocals and harmonies.

4-Dimitris: Did you had any particular difficulties accomplishing that particular track or any specific technical challenges or obstacles that you had to overcome during its production.

Audorn: The biggest obstacle with this track was trying to keep the energy at a high. Because the breakdown is so big in this track it was critical to have plenty of moving bits with in the breakdown as well as end to end, to keep the track groovy and moving.

5- Dimitris: Which music composition software or hardware you prefer and why? What is your opinion of the latest movement to produce music with more analogue equipment and with less or without any digital software?

Audorn: Logic Pro X; I feel the wave of Analogue equipment returning is brilliant, gives an opportunity for the younger crowd to experience the sounds and feel. For the mature crowd a sense of nostalgia. It's a positive for all parties.

6-Dimitris: Do you prefer vocal or instrumental tracks? If there are vocals on the track we discuss about tell us about the singer you work with?

Audorn: It depends, I think. Both. With the right vocals and lyrics you're able to pull emotions and find some common ground with the crowd / listener. Although same with Instrumental tracks, with the right chord progressions. Different individuals and interpretations.

7-Dimitris: Are there any vocalists/singers on electronic dance music you aspire to work with?

Audorn: Many, although at the moment I'm really enjoying the works of HAYLA, Nu-La to name a couple.

8-Do you post videos on tiktok? If yes please reference for us your favourite? What is your opinion about the power of tiktok to promote music releases? Is there any tiktok video created by fans of you with your music worth mentioning?

Audorn: Social media in general is such a powerful tool, gives us an opportunity to interact with our listeners and to build community. It's a must!!

9-Dimitris: Do you have any gigs/festival performances confirmed so far for 2024 in which ones are you most excited to perform and why?

Audorn: Nothing yet but looking forward to have some hopefully in the near future.

10-Dimitris: Please note for all the new talents that read this interview to get some inspiration from you any technical tips in relation to your DJing or music productions. Also any piece of personal or music business' advice that has helped you to progress even further and is worth telling to the new upcoming talents.

Audorn: Don't be afraid to step into the unknown or go against the grain with your music style. Another one is, just because a Label knocks back your track doesn't mean it isn't good enough. It's just isn't what the label is looking for. Lastly, knock-backs are apart of the process. Helps you build resilience as an artist.

11-Dimitris: Many producers and DJs offer online masterclasses or teach to music production & DJing courses. Do you believe is essential to take part in any of these courses to develop your skills? Are you are offering any of these services? or other related services like ghost-producing or mastering? please tell us about these activities

Audorn: Knowledge is key, and it is important to learn and absorb as much as you can.

12-Dimitris: Is there a club classic that you would like to remix or rework in 2023? Do you attempt often to do your own bootlegs of classics?

Audorn: I don't do bootlegs enough as I'm heavily focused on originals. Maybe a few in the future.

13-Dimitris: Can you describe your music as certain music genre such as trance, house, techno or your music exempts these categorizations? What is your opinion about hybrid styles and artists who are attempting to mix influences from various genres in their tracks?

Audorn: Trance, Techno and whatever is in between. In my honest opinion it's not a bad thing, it allows the producer to be more creative and fuse something unique. It's getting a lot more common.

Thanks so much to Audorn for this interview.

Thanks to Stuart at FSOE for arranging this great interview.
