 GRAMMY-nominated DJ and production duo Gabriel & Dresden return to Anjunabeats with ‘Kinetic Cinema’.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, aka Gabriel & Dresden, have earned a dedicated and unwavering fanbase over the past two decades of their career. Renowned for their timeless and emotional records, the GRAMMY-nominated production duo underpinned modern trance with hits like ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Beautiful Things’ and ’Tracking Treasure Down.’

Gabriel & Dresden made their Anjunabeats album debut with ‘The Only Road’ in 2017. Title track ‘Only Road’, co-written and performed by Sub Teal, went on to be remixed by Cosmic Gate and was subsequently nominated for a GRAMMY in 2018.

The duo have three BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes under their belt, won Best American DJ, Best Producers and Best Remixers at the IDMA Awards, scored 21 #1’s on the Billboard Dance Chart, peaked at #20 on DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll and have performed in over 40 countries worldwide.

Last year, the pair joined forces with Andrew Bayer and Sub Teal on ‘Other Eye’, which saw spins from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Farius, Mark Sixma, Andrew Rayel, Kyau & Albert and Tritonal.

Gabriel & Dresden now make their return to Anjunabeats with their seismic single ‘Kinetic Cinema’, a techno floor-filler that’s earned support from the from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Anden, Argy, Dark Heart, Edu Imbernon, Fur Coat, Joris Voorn, Kevin De Vries, LP Giobbi, Nicole Moudaber, Oliver Heldens and many more.

For this track they adopt the deep pounding basslines along with punchy metallic kick and thumping drums. On top they add some cool euphoric synthy riffs that creates beautifully this sense of constant movement and invite to discover our place in their Kinetic Cinema. The breakdown is truly cinematic with melodramatic opera voices and cinematic strings followed by superb build up towards their ferocious climax. It has incredible melodic strength and the energy to keep dancefloors moving. With simple and effective elements the track follows the dogma less is more with great effect.
