Armada Music, the biggest independent dance music label in the world, today announced it has signed a long-term deal with Bristol-born, Detroit-based multi-faceted artist Will Clarke. In line with the announcement comes the release of single ‘Give Me’, a link up between Will Clarke and acclaimed producer BURNS.
On signing with Armada Music, Will Clarke said, “I’m at a pivotal moment as an artist where my writing and production is my priority and deepest passion, and I feel ready to take things to the next level. With the Armada team behind me, who understand my sound and my vision, I know that my new music can reach its full potential. ‘Give Me’ with BURNS, whose work I’ve admired for so long, really sets the tone of what’s to come.”
Making an entrance with its emotive intro that flips into a techno-leaning house beat, ‘Give Me’ oozes with flair and bears all the hallmarks of a standout club record, from the defined upbeat bass groove and pads, to uplifting vocal presence. The track was made in tandem with acclaimed GRAMMY©-nominated producer and multi-instrumentalist BURNS, who most notably co-produced UK #1 hit record ‘Miracle’ by Calvin Harris.
Jason Ellis, Senior Global A&R Director at Armada Music said, “We are thrilled to have Will on board at such an exciting time in his career, to guide his artist project with the support of a full team across our global operation. It’s rare to tap an artist with an impressive multifaceted offering, and such an obvious passion for what they do. For Will, it’s all about making art with no cliches.”
Known for his dynamic style and high-powered sound spanning house and techno, Will Clarke has established himself on the dance music map with hits via his own imprint All We Have Is Now and many other highly esteemed labels including Trick, Filth On Acid and Kneaded Pains including a breakout remix of Duke Dumont’s ‘Love Song’. He has played for global brands such as ANTS, Elrow and Trick and boasts a global touring presence with performances spanning Ibiza to New Zealand.
