REVIEW: Vimana - Dreamtime (Remixes by Daniel Wanrooy, Johan Gielen, Sherano) on Elpida Music

Elpida Music starts the new year with the 3rd classic remix pack! And it’s a huge classic this time. DJ Tiesto and Ferry Corsten collaborated back in the days as Gouryella and Vimana. In 1999 they released their Vimana EP with “We Came” and “Dreamtime”. Elpida Music gives you 3 great updates with brand new remixes by Daniel Wanrooy, Johan Gielen and Sherano. From progressive to trance, there is always a right remix for your taste! Enjoy!

Enjoy the original mix

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The beloved Dutch trance project Vimana was responsible for many trance classics that always come back with new remixes and interpretations. Elpida Music well known for its progressive output keeps the standards really high with 3 classy remixes. Elpida's owner Daniel Wanrooy moves on the progressive trance sound with chunky grooves, electro dirty basslines, tribal percussion and superb layering of the various original elements. The breakdown reveals the big unforgettable riff that will bring tears of joy in your eyes followed by more aggressive pumping climax with less of that addictive melody. Johan Gielen comes next with his 134 BPM energetic proglifting trance version that recalls the sound of his beloved Gielen trademark sound. The main hooky melody appears frequently in various forms and shapes with ethereal luscious breakdown with piano chords and choral atmosphere.  Except the unexpected when the melody blasts out in full effect in his hands in the air anthemic climax. Just perfect once again. Sherano on the other side takes the track in a deeper moodier level creating his hypnotic version that respects the original and stays close to it with additional electro twisted trance basslines for the big rooms and mainstages. #PureGold Love IT[/content]
