REVIEW: ReOrder & Emma Chatt - Alive Tonight out on Black Hole Recordings

Alive Tonight is the first single after the release of ReOrder’s very well received IAMREADY artist album. Emma Chatt’s voice carries the first half of ‘Alive Tonight’, before it catches a swell of Tibor’s primetime synth sensibility.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]ReOrder & Emma Chatt collaborate for the very nice vocal trance anthem Alive Tonight. The track has definitely the potential to become favourite for many vocal trance devotees. However the track seems to suffer from melodies that we have heard before while the breakdown focuses on the nice piano melody combined with Emma's voice that is descent but not yet on the level to make you feel goosebumps with her performance. I'm sure that if she works for more vocal trance anthems in the near future the maturity in her voice will come through. The synthy melody in the climax is equally one of those that we feel that we have heard before. While the piano melody is very touching in the breakdown we don't get a taste from it in the climax that would be a cool idea. It sounds effective and dancefloor destroyer but doesn't surprise me with new groundbreaking ideas. Check IT! [/content]
