ADE 2018: Belgium included in this year's ADE Country Focus

The southern neighbours of The Netherlands are included in this year's ADE Country Focus at ADE Pro.

Given its global nature, ADE has always hosted panels about countries that are part of the global electronic village. The Country Focus series include a 20-minute keynote detailing all the most important players who are involved in electronic music and tech platforms that determine the scene’s exposure. The keynote is then followed by a networking session where people interested in working with the featured country’s companies, get the chance to meet and exchange contacts.

Contrary to the other countries’, Belgium’s feature moment will not take place at DeLaMar. Belgium is already well represented during this year’s ADE due to Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond. De Brakke Grond is again hosting the ADE Festival Hangout, resulting in them being a hub for numerous events of ADE Sound Lab. In addition, the team behind de Brakke Grond will also host events themselves. Teaming up with Belgium’s Poppunt, Sabam for Culture and Belgium Booms, they will host Brussels by Night. Also, they present Brussels based talent like Liyo Gong, Monolithe Noir, Weird Dust and Simon Halsberghe and host a panel that will zoom in on Brussels nightlife.

Alongside electronic landmarks like Tomorrowland and Dour Festival, Belgium is also home to acts that have been regularly playing at ADE. This year's Belgian acts include Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Lost Frequencies, Netsky, San Soda and many more. The keynote’s host is yet to be confirmed.

Country Focus - Belgium will be held Friday, October 18th from 6 PM until 8 PM at De Brakke Grond.
