Highly respected DJ/Producer Gerd Janson is back with a hair-raising new re-work of Awesome 3’s seminal rave classic
‘Dont Go’ with huge support in recent weeks across BBC Radio 1 from the likes of Annie Mac, MistaJam, Dance Anthems, Pete Tong and Monki with over 20 plays and counting, along with a #1 Cool Cuts chart placing and having gained a #2 spot on the BBC R1 Dance chart.
3 of the initial members of Awesome 3 (Nick Hussey, Pete Orme and the original vocalist Julie McDermott) have joined forces once again - adding Gerd Janson's subtle magic - the original has seen countless versions and remixes since the 90’s, but Gerd's 2018 re-work increases its firepower, adds beat stomping bass lines to compliment Julie McDermott's soulful vocals creating an essential radio and dance-floor weapon.
On the B side yet another hugely respected producer under new alias Smokin Jack Hill steps on remix duties which has also seen countless Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1 Dance anthems spins over the past few weeks. This is shaping up to be a huge release!!
