Classical Trancelations in Concert unites classical music and rave culture in an unprecedented way. The unforgettable concert of 2016 sold out the Helsinki Music Hall twice, in record breaking time. The concerts moved thousands worldwide, received raved reviews and left us all in awe and lingering for more. Now, the Classical Trancelations in Concert returns with a once-in-a-lifetime symphonic experience, unseen nor heard before.

This September, a hundred and fifty musicians will step on stage at Hartwall Arena and perform at what will be one of the biggest indoor electronic dance music events in Finnish history. Nearly two hours of timeless electronic music classics reimagined into a beautiful journey, surrounded by a visual experience that will take us even further.

Composers Petri “Lowland” Alanko and Pessi Levanto have arranged a selection of electronic dance music classics by legends such as Daft Punk, Avicii, Moby, Fatboy Slim, Pendulum and Eric Prydz. Half of the program performed will be completely new, not to forget crowd favourites from the 2016 concert from artists such as Faithless, Tiësto, Robert Miles, Guru Josh and Darude.

The one hundred piece Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra will perform with Ahjo Ensemble, conducted by the young breakthrough conductor Eero Lehtimäki. Soloist gracing the stage include Kasmir and Paleface, joined by saxophonist Tapani Rinne, singer Marianna and actor Sami Uotila. The concert is curated by DJ Orkidea.

This September Hartwall Arena will stage an historical event, when virtuoso artists, friendly encounters, cold shivers and tears of joy will fill the night…
