De School books, among others, Marcel Dettmann, JASSS and Eris Drew for their 62-hour party during ADE. De School announces their three-day, nonstop festival club night, Het Weekend.
For this year's Amsterdam Dance Event, De School is back with its continuous 62-hour club night, running from Friday night until late Monday morning. This notorious event will be spread accross three different rooms of a former school building in the west of Amsterdam.
At the heart of the event, on Saturday night, SKY H1 will do a live concert in De Aula. On Sunday, the club has invited Marcel Dettmann and locals such as Job Jobse, Oceanic and upsammy. Throughout the weekend, several artists will be doing live sets, including Octo Octa and Nadia Struiwigh.
Besides the festival program, the School also commits itself to other activities. Coming back for the third time is the Resident Advisor - Cup. Like previous years, a football tournament will be held with all proceeds going towards charity.
De School's art program is curated by their in-house artists, Children of the Light, who have invited artists Joris Strijbos, Nicky Assmann and Matthijs Munnik amongst others to take over different spaces in the building with installations. Different art interventions by students from Amsterdam’s Sandberg Institute will take place during the weekend.

This event is accessible for ADE Pass holders (limited capacity). The ADE Pass is available here. Tickets will be available at the door throughout the whole event. For Saturday’s day program and the SKY H1 live concert, there are separate low-fare tickets available.
