In a year where his pensive and emotionally swirling melodies have risen towards the highlights of trance in 2017, Coldharbour Recordings is delighted to welcome back Dennis Sheperd; with the next instalment in his impressive portfolio, and one with a deep personal meaning, titled Copenhagen.
The reason behind the name? The Danish Capital was the location for a seismic day in Dennis' life, marrying his special lady, Lavashnee, in May 2016. An occasion to live long in the memory inspired him to paint a portrait through his strength of music.
The German is no stranger to Coldharbour, having collaborated with the boss Markus Schulz on 2012 anthemic number Go. With Markus assigned the task of mixing the latest edition of the acclaimed Techno Club compilation series alongside Talla 2XLC, Dennis was immediately considered to lay his mark on the journey.
Much like his summer stormer Reconnected, Copenhagen allows the melody to shine brightest; boasting one that pulses through the dancefloor whilst maintaining a contemplative mood for home listening.
Copenhagen marks a fantastic piece for the winter. As New Year's Eve approaches, it will rightly fill the playlists of many. For Dennis and Lavashnee, it is a melody to last a lifetime.

As far as good melodic trance is concerned, Dennis is one of those producers that comes in my mind. Truly talented and very gifted artist with vision of what he wants to achieve. Quality is always at the top of his lists and his melodies are truly classy and inspiring. His Coldharbour outing called Copenhagen is magnificent warm and euphoric big room authentic trance at its very best. The main melody revealed in the breakdown ensures to send shivers from head to toe and give big wide smiles in your face. The climax is energetic and uplifting as it should be in truly glorious form.
