REVIEW: Hosini - Syna EP out on Anjunadeep

A new addition to the label roster, talented Swede Hosini debuted on this year’s ‘Anjunadeep 09’ with compilation highlight ‘Syna’. He now makes his first solo outing with his three-track ‘Syna EP’.

Opening with the familiar piano-laden grooves of the title track, the EP drifts into cinematic deep cut ‘Laomedeia’, before rounding off with the tribal infused melodies of ‘Capella’.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Hosini brings 3 incredible tracks on the table that will keep the Anjunadeep faithful more than happy. Syna is a magnificent deep slow moving and grooving production with warm melodies, melancholic piano touches that run from the breakdown till the outro, distorted soulful vocals and hypnotic atmosphere that aspires to suck you deep in its dreamworld.  Laomedeia has great drums and percussion elements along with slow moving basslines, warm strings and feel good slightly optimistic piano theme along with the nice colourful vocal. The piano theme reappears in the main section adding that cinematic quality encouraging the listener to get involved in the track and let all the inhibitions and fears melt away into the oceans of emotions. Lastly Capella has mysterious mystic spiritual side with slightly tribal percussion, soulful vocal chops and again piano melody that haunts you and crawls easily under your skin to awaken your imagination and let this journey begin. #PureGold Love IT  [/content]
