Damae notes about Phoenix: " I coproduced and wrote the track again like " My Momma Said " with Dutch producer Jeroen Nap ( Nils van Zaandt ) & Jens East.

The meaning is to rise high again like Phoenix from the ashes when u were stuck on the ground...plus my son is called Phoenix, so it has got a very special meaning.

We shot the musicvideo in Ibiza @ Can Soleil which is a very spiritual place and fits perfect to the message of the song."

Damae is an absolutely cool artist with beautiful singles so far and great guest performances in wide variety of places all over the world. Her voice is always fresh and has that unique tone and colour that is easily distinguishable from others as she can stand out easily. Phoenix, after her excellent success My Momma Said, continues on the same positive optimistic vibe with deep meaningful lyrics performed with care and sweetness from Damae. If you have found yourself in a very unfortunate position and you manage to get out from your ashes and shine again in your life and profession then Phoenix will recall these moments of bravery and willingness to move on despite all the obstacles. The original extended mix is a very relaxing melodic deep house track with warm summery vibe and future house drop with rave like synthy hook for that hands in the air moment. Kindervater version follows the current trend in pop dance singles with trap and tropical influences making it absolutely pleasurable to listen and travel your mind and body away for its whole duration with xylophone melodies, romantic piano and laidback relaxing grooves. LUUJA remix starts with cool piano ambient intro and the trap meets dubstep main section will make the clubbers bounce while in the chorus epic strings highlight the melodramatic edge of the lyrics.
