ADE Tech, where music and musicians get to see the what the future is made of in a series of sizzling, hot-button presentations and panel discussions, is organised in partnership with Paylogic and supported by Paradiso Labs. This year’s line-up features a keynote by Gopi Sanga, Director of Digital at Goldenvoice, producers of Coachella, Desert Trip and Stagecoach, amongst other North American music festivals. He will be giving his in-depth and highly personal view of what VR and AR experiences can do for festivals such as Coachella, as well as offering a unique glimpse of the Coachella VR experience, and sounding a warning about how these technologies should be deployed and the limits of their relevance.

Blockchanging the Entertainment Industry features a group of globally recognised blockchain experts discussing exactly how and why this rapidly emerging and much talked about technology is likely to play a major role in the transactional future of businesses. Predictive analysis is the focus in Man vs Machine when Hitwizard, designed by Goldmund Wyldebeast & Wunderliebe, attempts to show that it can accurately predict which tracks are likely to appear in the Spotify top 200.
IBM's Watson Beat & Spinnin'
There will also be another star-attraction software appearance when IBM Research’s Watson Beat is joined by guests from Spinnin’ Records in The Acceptance Of Artificial Intelligence. The audience will be played two different samples, one of which was composed by AI and the other by a human being. But will they be able to tell the difference? The panelists will also be revealing how Watson Beat was developed, and how far AI can be integrated into the creative lives of music industry professionals, plus how relevant the technology really is and what it will be able to achieve in the coming years.
