ADE 2017: ADE Dance & Brands prepares fourth edition

Following on from three previous sold-out editions the conference track, newly re-housed in the DeLaMar Theater, will this year take place on Friday October 20th.

We shift our focus to ADE Dance & Brands. The specialist one-day conference track for brand- and marketing managers will kick-off by putting the true nature of the relationship between brands and festivals under the microscope when LiveStyle CRO Chris Monaco takes the stage to deliver the keynote How to Make the Live Industry more Fan and Brand Friendly. Monaco will be taking a close look at what other event-based industries do to foster fan and brand engagement, and what our live industry can learn from it.

Stage designer extraordinaire Heather Shaw, who started the year designing the set for Sep7imo Dia, the Cirque du Soleil’s latest production in Buenos Aires, will be talking about the future of live entertainment, based on her experiences working on installations such as Sony’s Lost In Music. Shaw believes that we are about to see a huge shift in how music fans interact with their environment, and what they expect from a live experience.

Ola Sars of Spotify-owned Soundtrack Your Brand, will be going deep into neuro-science to explain what breeds affinity, how that can be applied to brands, and the role of music in creating genuine attachments to brands from across the product spectrum. He’ll also be discussing the intersection between brands and music and how this 'hot zone' can contribute to growing the music industry.

The A’DAM Tower has rapidly established itself as an iconic building in a city that is already overloaded with architectural icons thanks to the inspired work of twin brothers Declan and Garech Stone a.k.a. The Stone Twins. Alongside their playful, colourful art work, the underlying strategy, to base selling space in the building around music rather than square metres, was a genuine game changer for the property industry, with the building fully occupied since its inception. The brothers will be discussing their holistic approach to branding using identity, communications, experience, interior design and of course music.
